User generated content and the Future
This article lays out reasons why "UGC" or user generated content and the sites that are promoting UGC, like flickr, YouTube, Ohmynews and MySpace as well as the soon to come to America, CyWorld are popular.
This is focused on mobiles but think about the user base out there for tiny vids and pix.
The author cracked me up with a spot-on example which I would characterize as eccentrically British -- how foot fetishists are using the service.
