Kirk to get vote on stem cell research, but there's a catch
Local politics. Buzz is off the technical message because Mark Kirk is a representative from my area, though my part of the town was gerrymandered so that we vote with the more Democratic Evanston. Kirk's problem is that the district has always been independent and liberal in some issues, despite being represented by a Democrat. On the stem cell issue, Kirk is getting hurt in the local papers.
