Wisdom of Crowds, literally. "Crowdsourcing"
I follow the advertising and marketing news because those industries are blantantly bottom line and you can see that wither goes the ad business, so might go the news business.
This is the first time I have noted "crowdsourcing" used as a verb, but I don't think it will be the last. If Procter & Gamble can trust the crowd, why not everyone?Advertising Age - Who's Ready to Crowdsource?: "Crowdsourcing was coined by Wired magazine earlier this year. It's a process where businesses faced with tough challenges don't try to come up with all of the answers themselves. They tap into the collective wisdom of millions of amateurs around the world to come up with a solution. Naturally, they use digital technology to do so"
